A whole week on the BW - 12/26 thru 1/3

Had a great week fishing on the BW this past week.  I fished long and hard each day with pretty good results.

WT's were anywhere from 36 to 49 degrees depending on location.  Bait was easy to find deep in the back of several creeks.

Started off the week by finding bait and fishing that area in the morning.  Each morning was great right at first light for 45 minutes or so and then the bite died off quick.  Finding fish in the late morning and afternoon was difficult all week long.

Found fish late in the evenings in some nearby coves.

All told I caught between 5 and 12 fish each day - got 3x36 inchers - a half dozen 34 and 35 inchers and another half dozen or so between 30 and 32.

Steipes under a school of bait about to start busting the water. Started busting a minute or so after this. Picked up 3 fish during thisbaction right at dark...2 off of bait and one casting a fluke.

Nice report. Good to see you last week. I can tell you all, there are few people that fish as hard as this guy. Dusk to dawn, day in day out, 10 plus lines in the water at all times with or without anyone else in his boat. Grinder!! I’d love to apply for Doug’s position .
