Anybody have any advice or tips on finding big gizzards this time of year? Not looking for anybody’s spots but having trouble locating them in the colder months. Thanks a bunch in advance for anyone that will help

Look in the deeper water. Found them in quite a few creeks in the Blackwater from 25 to 40 feet deep. Taped net was the only way we could get them. Once you find them and if you have a taped net they were fairly easy to catch.
Shad were anywhere from 6 to 14 inches.
