Nice sunny day with water Temps around 46 degress Bait- I got a mixed bag of ales and a few small gizzards under my dock light. I had to pick through a bunch of small ones to find the bait tank worthy bait. Locations- looked for fish at: Campers, R31, Stoney, Across from Indian, R50 down to Jump in run, Beaverdam, B&B, yacht club , near the bridge. (Jake's place for lunch) What I marked- I marked tons of bait but, I couldn't mark any stripers. I did mark a few near the bridge but, had no takers. So we were off to lunch. After lunch we headed right back near the bridge to where we had marked the fish and put out a spread. Well, we ended up boating 5 fish there pretty fast. Where we caught them- All the fish came off of a main lake point. Fishing techniques- Pull boards slowly. Double !! One really quick pic and had the larger fish back in the water in seconds

Thanks for the report, those of us who are going through our tackle boxes and re-stringing our reels live vicariously through these reports.

Hey Fishwisp--glad you made the site. I agree reading about these folks fishing, almost gets me a chubby. ;D Better them then me in this cold weather. Last year Mikie and I went out in early march, after my first net cast the thing was freezing up from wind and cold. One and done. ;D We went and got hot coffee and cinamon buns.
