Ok - here’s the plan - since we won’t be able to hold our Striper Mafia Charity Tournament next weekend due to the Rona catching me finally, we are still going ahead with the toy collection & raffle to collect toys for families in need in the local area to be distributed by Lake Christian Ministries.
We will have two main collection sites - Magnum Point Marina & Smith Mountain Building Supply, and then there will be specific times/locations that @sea Tow Smith Mountain Lake will collect for this cause as well - more on those locations soon.
Magnum Point Marina, Lauren and team will begin collecting on Monday and will collect through end of day Saturday, Dec 12th
Smith Mountain Building Supply will collect this Mon - Fri from 8-4 at their location on VA-122 near Kroger. Ask for Craig.
We will update you soon on the locations and times for the Sea Tow collection.
You will be given a raffle ticket for each new, unwrapped toy $5 value or higher you donate. Make sure to write your name & phone number on the ticket so we can contact you if you’re a winner.
We will be raffling off two Catch The Fever Striper Stealth rods and a 50 gal Creek Bank Bait Tank - ans will arrange for pickup sometime later due to the circumstances (the tank is still in TN which was not my plan....)
Please help us still step up big time for the kids this Christmas through this effort.
