In fishing they say âmatch the hatchâ - well these will âmatch the boatâ when they get to their intended owner đ

Are these going to a certain blackwater striper guide that has a boat with twins on the back?

These look awesome. Just out of curiosity, how much do these cost? As they are all custom the price can range greatly depending on specific blank, guides, reel seat, grips, thread work, etc. However - guidance I provide is for a quality fiberglass blank, graphite reel seat, standard guides, standard EVA foam grips & simple guide wraps/trim will start around $175/rod and then honestly the sky is the limit from there - the options are limitless including custom painted colored blanks, custom grips (as on these), high end guides with colored inserts, powdered coated guides, fancy decorative thread wraps & weaves, etc. Some will say that sounds like a lot - but the beauty of a custom rod is they are built one at a time - to the way YOU want - want a shorter or longer butt grip or fore grip- no problem. Want your kids name on the rod, or your favorite college teamâs logo, or colors? Sure! You call the shots on the colors used, etc. Itâs an expression of your personality and a one of a kind rod for you.

These look awesome. Just out of curiosity, how much do these cost? HB - if you've never owned a custom rod I encourage you to explore the options. $175ish for a custom stick is peanuts compared to the performance and feel you get from properly paired blanks and components. i never thought it would make a difference, that i just needed to cast more. nope. there's a whole new world of fishing out there when you put the right pieces and parts together. i have a handful of custom sticks. worth every penny IMHO.

I was curious mainly because Iâd like to get into it myself. Sounds like a great wintertime pass-time, making stuff Iâd use. Not thinking for selling purposes, just personal. I def see where a custom rod would be way better.

This is the case for many - something to do that keeps you connected to fishing when youâre not on the water. It was one of the main draws for me - though I always laugh as I see it as my Summer past-time as thatâs my downtime for fishing - well it used to be / last year or so the whole year has been my downtime Happy to give you some pointers on what you need and donât and where to get started.
