One fish

Fished live bait all week with one 31” fish to show for it. Fished 3” threadfin to 14” gizzards. Leaves made it tough for my normal presentation. Saw many schools surface. Fish only stayed up for seconds before disappearing to the depths below.

This is the first year I have seen a strong return of threadfins but I don’t get to fish the lake often.

Love those noodle marks! I’m guessing you were cocked and ready when those popped up. Surprised of the outcome you mention.

See those kinda marks, no takers, plop a spoon in and see what happens. Wise man once mentioned to never hit the water without a spoon this time of year, and moving forward towards winter. That I’ve followed, and been successful.
