So I have a terrible “fear of missing out” problem. I think that’s my only way of explaining my dumb urge to stay in an area that has not produced in hours. I talk my self into the area because I caught fish there yesterday or even I’m marking fish and their not interested.
When to move? How long do you work an area that your marking fish or have had success in past before you move to another area/creek completely?

Wow! That's a good question. I think everyone deals with that. I can only tell you from my prospective but it's hard to leave a spot when you have all the makings of good bite. If you have shad in the area and see good images that you are sure are fish, in an area that has been good in the past, I stay there with hope they will turn on. Then again , I might decide to take off to another spot.

Several years ago, I sat on a monster school of fish 3 mornings in a row. No more. If they don't want to play, I move on.
