Put in at hardy little late 730 but bait was flipping everywhere. Turned the finder on and dropped trolling motor only to find out its not working. I messed with the switch bypassed it nothing switched out batteries thinking one could be bad nothing. I gave up on it started throwing the net only caught 3 gizzards moved down a bit trolling motor worked for a few seconds so i figured loose wire was getting ready to take it apart figured throw the net one more time only to hang it up and destroy the old ten footer. Tied off to a downed tree started pulling the head unit apart checked all the connections looked good pulled the twist plug apart and found the ground wire loose and black looking, tightened it up game on but its around 11 now. Road down the lake a ways finally caught some threadfins about 5 inches i did find out the new chain leaded net is nowhere near as heavy as the old net. Pulled out of there not marking much at all then found 2 really nice schools pulled on them with down lines and ready rigs finally caught 1 dink but he had 2 baits in his mouth hooked up on 2 rods. Really struggling this fall last few trips but i am off both weeks of muz so fishing a few days hopefully will be better.
