A bit disappointing, but it was better then work. Tried to fish a little each day, both early and just before dark. Fished mostly in Craddock creek, bait was easy on the dock light, but for some reason they did not last long and getting bait during the day was a struggle for me. Really only found fish Thursday morning at the mouth of Craddock and I think I was a bit late getting there as the bite seemed to have turned off. Saw a few caught, ran over one nice school (wish I would have gotten a pic of my fish finder) and hooked up with my first and only striper of the week, only to have it come unbuttoned before I could get the net under it. I saw quite a few floaters, so I'd recommend moving to a different species once you catch your limit. Catfish off the dock kept the week interesting, but I think more time on the water is needed before I can catch stripers consistently on SML. Getting to fish the lake only a few times a year makes it difficult. Thanks to the folks who reached out to me with some info, I really do appreciate it.

I was pleasantly surprised, boat traffic was very light all week long. Even the jet skis were few and far between.
