yall may or may not have seen me harp about all these years never catching the elusive Smith Mountain Lake Smallmouth Bass, ive caught them in rivers before but never at SML. Well it finally happened over 4th of July weekend, yeah thats been awhile but ive had a lot going on and havent been able to post about it.
So yeah, i finally caught my first SML Smallie. it was only 12 inches but it fought good and was nice and healthy looking. it may not seem like much, but to finally get this off my back after over 20 years of fishing the lake on and off was a great feeling for me
