Hello Folks!
My name is Mitch and I've just joined this forum. I live about 2hrs. from the lake. I fished 2 times at SML 17yrs ago and spent 2 days there this week. So have only been on the lake 3 times. It truly is overwhelming when I see all the coves, islands etc. I want to start Striper fishing again to give my 2 young boys the experience this great sport offers. I guess my main trouble is knowing where to even begin looking on the lake for fish-especially since they are always on the move. We don't keep fish-just trying to give my boys some action. So far, we've not had much success. I've been reading as much as I can. We're coming back to stay at Gills Creek Marina Oct. 9-11th so looking forward to it then. Hope to get to know some of you guys.
I did talk with Captain Kenny at Gills-he seemed really nice and I enjoyed our conversation. You folks take care!
