Good afternoon
New to SML, my wife is originally for Danville va, I am for the finger lakes in upstate NY. Active duty Marine just moved back from California to DC. Wife and I bought a bought and are keeping it at pelican point.
Grew up on the finger lakes fishing lake trout year round. Looking forward to spending the weekends on SML.

Welcome and thanks for serving. Grew up in Fairport, NY, a little village outside of Rochester and both parents grew up in Elmira/Horseheads area. Right as I was moving south in the 80s to go to school, my folks bought a cottage on Keuka and had it for several years. Traveled a fair amount and I think the Finger Lakes region is one of the prettiest parts of the country. First time I came to SML in the mid-90s it reminded me very much of the Finger Lakes. Earliest fishing memories are fishing on for pike and yellow perch on Sodus Bay (off of Lake Ontario east of Rochester) and for pike the thousand islands.
