Since all our other plans got cancelled, we got two trips to the lake this year Totally opposite part of the lake this time, so maybe I'll have better luck. We are down by the dam - any suggestions on where/what to try? I pulled a couple plugs in front of the house yesterday, but no luck. I should be able to cast net some ales from the dock tonight, so hopefully I'll have live bait in the morning. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks

I’d try the boom at the dam if you’re that close. There should still be a school roaming around that area. If not, you’ll likely need to run up either river channel a bit to find something. A mile above or below Hales Ford is a safe guarantee to find something this time of year. Alewives will work.

Thanks for the info, Bentrod. Got out this morning a little ways up the Blackwater. Two nice fish came unbuttoned, but did manage to get one to the boat. I'm a bit tired of the rain, but will keep trying.
