Just got a text from the choo-dood. It included a pic of a dock/boathouse near R53. Unbelievable. Just a quick note to those who live on the water - prayers on the way for all. For those who are contemplating an outing this long weekend, please err on the side of safety. It's gonna be dangerous out there. B

8am - Lake is a complete wreck this morning. It will take all summer to clean this mess up. Water is well over my dock, but gambled and hung the boats in the rafters last night as opposed to taking them off lifts. Right now I have maybe another foot or so clearance from water surface. Just checked and lake level graph says 797.74.
Sincere thoughts and prayers for those up and down the lake, I’m sure there are many with problems. Hope and pray there haven’t been accidents or physical harm to anyone

my aunt says her dock on craddock creek is completely underwater. i asked for pics but it hasnt been that long. normally i would be down there this weekend, sitting on the dock fishing and crushing beers. apparently i wouldnt be sitting on the dock had i come this weekend, and i havent crushed any beers in almost 8 months. stay safe out there
