a wise and timely warning - thank you, sir! 2.5" here in Blacks-boogie and it's still coming down. Airborne thinks this will be a good weekend to study maps, clean gear, and plan for the next weekend.

If you can get on the water, is this a good time to fish? Will bass be out of cover due to rising water levels? Just curious. I'm on blackwater and the dock is now underwater.

Water is rising about an inch an hour. Or dock is about 5” under water now. Luckily we were able to get over here about an hour before water was up on the dock to get the refrigerator, dock furniture, and empty the boat house. Boats are all the way to the rafters and probably can take another foot before we’ll have to pull them and tie off to the floater. If you have a boat with a t top that can’t be pulled as high to the rafters as those without, you may want to think about getting over here to pull it. I’ve had a place over here since 1996 and don’t know if I’ve seen it get as high as it’s going to get. Very rare for this time of year. Usually happens late fall during hurricane season. Also worried about heavy boat traffic this weekend. If I still have a foot or two of water in the boat house, probably rip the siding and sheeting off the framing. If your going to be on the water this weekend be careful. Take care.
