I'm replacing the shaft on my trolling motor. Have all the parts and got the old shaft out, but I need to clean up the threads in the head. Research says it's a 1-1/8 x 18 NEF thread. Does anybody know who locally works on Minn Kota that might have a tap or could do it for me?

On the minnkota site they show the listing below as a service center.

Thank you! I called them an sent them an e-mail before I posted. Maybe I'll hear back from them. Also tried Conrad who is listed as a Minn Kota rep but they don't work on them. Running out of ideas:(

New River Marine in the Pulaski area is also listed as an authorized service center if you need a second option.
