Being that the wife has been stuck with the kids all day every day for the last 2 months. I decided to take the kids to Weldon for the weekend. Arived about an hour before dark on Saturday. Went down river and picked up 3 before it got dark.
This morning i went back. Tried up river first with no luck, but did see fish caught. So I went back down to where i found them the evening before. We managed to pick up 19, between 10 am and noon. Then i started the drive back.
We used large shiners from Bargin Land. They averaged around 3-4 inches long. I think jumbos would've performed better..
