4/26 crappies

Fished with my family south of the bridge between 2&4 pm. Got about 20 keepers plus some throwbacks for the 3 of us. Brush held fish, 6-10’ deep. Slip bobbers were much better today than swimming jigs. Mayfly was the hot color and we tried a bunch of em. Got a few on mallard flank jigs that I tied which was nice.

nothing more rewarding than catching a fish on a bait you made. nice work, john. some fine table fare right there.
