That was great wish we hadn't stopped fishing so much after the die off but we are definitely getting back into it this year

I guess there was a lot more fish in 2012 than there is now. I don’t know. I fished quite a bit back then and very little these days, so it is hard for me to get a good grasp on it. I’d say 2010-2011 were the peak for numbers over the last 10yrs. 20-40 fish days were pretty easy to come by with some pretty decent fish mixed in. Mid 2010s (2014-2017) the population appeared to be pretty low. Over the last couple of years, it seems like the numbers are coming back. I think a lot of that is related to stocking success (or lack thereof).
