3/12 Evening report

Went out with a buddy of mine on his new boat Thursday evening. Didn’t get on water till 5:30 and proceeded to one of my honey holes this time of year to throw some bucktails. When we arrived at my top secret location we were met with water splashing and shad running for their lives, it looked like a shad massacre going on, LOL!!!!! First cast with the ole trusty bucktail and hooked up, my buddy followed suit. We ended up boating 6, biggest was 12 lbs. had 2 more come unbuttoned at the boat and missed a few also. Awesome evening!!! All fish went back to fight another day
