Ipilot Micro remote

Alright so I finally bit the bullet and bought a new Minn Kota ipilot trolling motor. Has anyone used one of the Ipilot micro remotes and concocted a strap to use on their wrist? (See picture below of micro remote)

I’m coming from a copilot Terrova, and I really like the wrist remote vs the neck lanyard I’ve used on other guys boats.

I tried but had tons of problems with it loosing connection to my TM. Regular remote works fine but the micro would loose connection a few times a trip which can put you into a sticky situation if you’re unlucky enough to loose connection in a tight turn.

Thanks - that the old one or the new Bluetooth version?

Both. Had the older version and had problems with it. Got the new TM that had Bluetooth and was hopeful I’d have better luck with the Bluetooth. That wasn’t the case.

  I got tired of buying remotes. Thinking the last one I purchased only lasted about a month. Yours is bluetooth. Download the I-Pilot app on you phone. Been using it for about a year. Hasn't failed me yet. Only bad thing is it ties up your phone since you use it to controll your trolling motor. Have mward buy you an extra cell phone for your bithday.
