The 2019 March Madness is approaching quickly... we will be able to accommodate up to 69 teams (perhaps I can scrape up one or two more boards if I know in advance I need to). We had over 60 in December, so if you are planning to fish the March Madness event make sure you pre-register over at www.StriperMafia.com/registration to secure your spot. We have over 30 already signed up. Our charity for this event will be the School Backpack program - donations will be in the form of 16 oz jars of peanut butter - each jar will get a raffle ticket for a nice prize to be raffled - watch this space for more details on that.... |

47 Teams Pre-registered at the moment with just over a week to go. We have a hard cap of 65 teams due to # of measuring boards so if you are planning to fish make sure that you pre-register today - likewise if you have registered but something has come up, please let me know ASAP to free up the space...

The Captain's Meeting will be held at Smith Mountain Building Supply on VA-122 in Westlake, near Kroger - 13080 Booker T Washington Hwy, Hardy, VA 24101, from 5:30 - 8pm on Friday, 3/13. Each team must send at least one representative to pay the entry fee, pick up token card / measuring board & drop off a signed release form.
We will have drinks & snacks thanks to Smith Mountain Building Supply.
For those arriving to the area late that evening, I will have a late check-in at the Halesford Harbor Inn from 9-10pm

Our charitable cause this tournament will be the School Lunch Backpack program, where we will be collecting jars of 16 oz peanut butter to be sent along with other items in backpacks for students in need to ensure they have meals over weekends away from school. Details on the prizes coming soon - but be sure to pick up those jars of peanut butter when you are at the grocery store this week/weekend.
