Hi everyone,my name is Tommy, me and my brother love to fish and would love to learn the ropes to sml striper fishing. Any help to steer us in the right direction, baits, lures, areas to start ect, would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome! Lots of great info on here, check out the “how-to” area in the striper section. Also read through past weeks, months, years worth of reports and you can start to get an understanding of the stripers movement’s and favorite baits on SML.

Welcome aboard Tommy - The How To section and especially the seasonal movements of stripers post will help you start narrowing down sections of the lake a bit. As you get out there and get started let us know how it goes and ask questions, the best teaching moments I got from this forum were after I posted the most details i could about my recent skunk outings.
Lots of members would send private messages and help out as best they could - I think a little bit is withheld until you show you are willing to "suffer" a little bit and get out there and give it a good try first.
