Running bait tank off home power for $30

I recently purchased a converter that allows me to run my boat bait tank off home power.
I like my batteries to charge without that constant draw of bait tank.
And I couldn’t get onboard with paying so much ($100 more)for that option from the manufacturer.

Yup - been using one similar for a couple of years.

One more thing to up our game a bit is to get a 12volt waterproof connector from Amazon like below....wire everything up to use the same connector so you dont have all the bare wires. Get some heat shrink connectors and a $7.99 heat gun from harbor freight and you will be good to go.

Since this photo I’ve actually wired them with waterproof automotive connectors I had laying around.
Those self solder connectors are awesome!
