12/26 Gills Creek Crappie

Just getting around to posting but took advantage of the warm weather day after Christmas and decided to try some crappie fishing. Took some hunting to find them but once we did we loaded up. Found them at the end of a big oak tree that was laid out in about 30’ of water, on a sunny bank. Caught at least 30, had some real good ones, 10”+. Bobby Garland Blue Ice on 1/16 oz jig head was the hot item, I believe the water temp was around 48 on this particular bank.
