Over the last several days it’s been more of the same for me. Still jigging. Same areas between B&B and Indian. You just have to look till you find them. Three on the 26th. Eight on the 27th. Ten on the 30th. The ones from the 26th and 27th were real solid fish, with some in the slot. This evening it was back to the smaller schoolies. The running total for me starting with November 23rd is 26,0,13,9,0,3,8,10. One thing out of the norm this evening was the appearance of a drone out of nowhere that hovered over our heads for awhile then sped out of sight. Would like to have that footage.

Solid numbers man! Do you happen to upgrade hooks on your spoons? been having couple fish per trip come unbuttoned right at the boat. Switched out the Hopkins hooks for some gamakatsu hoping that may solve my problem today.
Thanks for the report!

I’ve never landed a striper on a spoon in my life. Had one hooked once. I’m jigging with flukes on 3/8 or 1/2 ounce jig heads. The best jigheads I’ve found are the white ones that you can get at captain’s quarters. The hooks are excellent and they have the perfect “eyeball”, which I feel is very important.

When you're hot you're hot. Thanks for posting up the report. I've caught a bunch casting flukes. As far as jiggin, caught 10X more jigging spoons than i have jigging flukes of coarse, whatever you have confidence in is what you stick with.

I wonder with the threadfin #s increasing in the lake again if the spoon bite in the winter will be better again than it seemed to be the last few years..... of course some larger # of smaller fish help the jigging bite overall I think....
I've never done well with spoons - even the magical ones hand-made by Bigun.... but over last few years when we tried spoons and flukes it seemed for us the flukes did better - but then again like Bigun said - it may be all in what you have confidence with

They were either 1/2 oz or 3/4. (cant really remember).... Haven't used one in that size since. Have only used 2 oz since..... Sorry

I’ve actually had the opposite experience I’ve only caught one striper on a fluke and tend to do pretty well with 1 and1-1/2oz Hopkins spoons vertical jigging, casting them I’m just as lost as with a fluke. I’ll have to check with captains thanks for the tip.
