Got to hales ford ramp at 2pm place was packed even parking in the grass. Went up river to the lower S curves marked fish all over the column 20-50fow jigging 1-1/4oz spoons. Caught 4 all under 30” Only managed to get 2 in the boat(18” and 20”) 2 others came unbuttoned right at the boat while netting, one of which was a very good fish that gave my smaller bass rod a run for its money. Water temp at hales ford 52° Hoping someone can give some insight on this for me: Is it better to troll less than .5mph and jig to cover area? or spot lock on the school and drop down to them? Does a school that’s holding in an area tend to migrate around said cove or do they pick a underwater structure or feature and hang together waiting on bait ball to make mistakes. ( I’m referring to the same afternoon you mark them, obviously from day to day they may be gone)
