Started at daylight. Water temp 51. The vast majority of my fishing is artificial and this morning was no different. Set out with a good fresh batch of flukes. I love not getting up at 3 AM to catch flukes. Fish were found in short order right where I expected them, but it took awhile to get the bite going. Ended up with 13. Not as good as the 26 from two trips ago, but better than the skunk on the last trip. Found great satisfaction in finding fish in two different creeks and not being a one trick pony, which I was beginning to feel like. The biggest was 22”, but that’s jigging. Not all the fish are up the rivers. Not all the fish are on the banks shallow.

Good for you on the 8 pt. buck My freezers are about full of deer, bear and turkey meat. So it won't be long I'll join in on the striper fun. I've missed it!
