Heads up to boaters on Smith Mountain Lake: We converted C1, a lateral mark (channel marker)on Smith Mountain Lake, from a white light to a green light with a quick flash today to bring the light into US Coast Guard compliance. C1 is located at the entrance of Craddock Creek in Bedford County. We have previously converted a number of other lateral marks as well.
