New to site. I hope to meet up with some of you guys and catch some stripers. My home lake in NC (Jordan) does not have any due to a fish kill a couple of summers ago. Please feel free to send me a message if someone needs a partner to share costs.
thanks,
Juno

Juno - welcome - several NC boys here including myself. Most coming out of Greensboro or Burlingon area but some Wake county folks as well.

Welcome guys, glad to have ya here. ;D k5, you are so right, the 80's were the bomb. Folks never even looked up when ya weighed in a 20lber at campers. (still miss the biscuits and gravy there) The lake hasn't changed that much ( other than a 1000 times more houses and docks and people) but the fish movements and tactics are like another world. What we learned about the fish in the 80's doesn't help alot now days. But we got some dang good memories. The fishery is headed in the right direction though. (Other than moving the start of the slot date in the fall, which will definitely hurt) There are a really good number of 20-25lb fish in the lake now and some in the 30's. Don't know where the 40+ lb fish came from the guy caught last may, but I can assure you it was the exception not the rule. Do you still fish??
