Fished all day in the upper Roanoke. I decided to fish right past where the mud line had ended. And a lot of people had the same Idea as me! I would say I was fishing around about 15-20 boats. I saw two caught all day, none of which were one my boat. Also got a few choice words from an older man who seemed to not be having a good morning after our planer boards met and just got barely tangled. He seemed to have no problem raising cain on a 19 year old who was just trying to fish on a beautiful November Saturday! although, I will say that having altercations like that does make me realize what fisherman I don't want to become. I hope the mafia tournament went well for all! I should be out this week a few times in my white and maroon deep V monark, give me a holler if you see me! tight lines everyone!

nice. good on ya for keeping your cool and staying above the fray. I've been yelled at, flipped off, and otherwise chided for passing well outside 200' of striper fishermen. I had to ask some of the doods on here if there was some unwritten rule or new piece of kit that allowed them to pan out that far. nope. just doods being doods. there are days you'd think all of the fishermen were named Smith, like the lake was named after them.
you, sir, are on a good path. stay the course.
