Hello all. Just relocated to Roanoke for work. I am from the Cleveland Ohio area. I am an avid outdoorsman especially fishing!! Headed to Smith Mountain Lake this Labor Day weekend. I look forward to anyone who would like to talk fishing. Especially any tips for Smith Mountain Lake. Thanks!

Welcome aboard. Once October rolls in, our forum usually gets going. This forum is mostly striper fishermen with a few bass guys. If you are a walleye guy, I think you will love striper fishing.
In terms of getting started, this site is loaded with historical knowledge and is organized well thanks to MWard. This site is not going to provide much immediate information though. To get that, you have to show and share your passion and get to know people.
Again... Welcome aboard. I'm a fellow buckeye from Dayton and I absolutely love Smith Mountain Lake and our fishing community. I also love bait.
