7-12-19 What a Day!!

So Dad and I got up early Friday morning and was on water at daylight headed for the ole perch hole. Rolled up in our little honey hole and the bite was on. We fished till about 9am and finished up with 37 keeper perch, several over 11” and 2 over 12” but didn’t find that citation. Also caught 2 nice channel cats, a 3lb flathead and a 8lb flathead. The majority of the fish caught came off of gulp minnows bouncing off the bottom and cut bait.

Returned home and began cleaning fish , and about half way through my wife calls me and advised me that her water just broke, so had to leave dad to the fish cleaning and get to hospital.

Then a 1:11am Saturday morning my sweet little baby girl came into the world at a whopping 5 lbs 8 oz. she’s a tiny little thing, but she is perfect, so I guarantee I will never forget that fishing trip😁😁

Thanks guys, she truly is a blessing, I never knew how much love you could have for something until her, she definitely has me wrapped around her finger already, I will have her out one of these days taking perch of the hook for her, but I don’t want it to get here to quick

Congratulations and enjoy your time with her. Before you know it she'll be almost 5 and wont need your help for anything, and you'll be wishing you had just one more after work nap on the couch with her.
