Fished this morning with my daughter. Wanted perch and crappies for dinner, got both.

Saved 10 crappies for the pan and ended up with 31 perch. About 10 more than I thought we caught. No little ones of either species.

15-20' for both. Crappies on brush, perch in the usual places. Spent more time looking and riding around than actually fishing.

Got a few shellcrackers, yellow perch and a drag peeling line breaking unseen fish on my daughter's rod.

some fine table fare, fo sho. nothing like getting the kids out on the water.

Indeed. Fixin to feed the whole fam here in a bit. My daughter thinks it's so cool that she helped catch everyone's dinner.
