Hey y’all, just went to go pick up some line for my counter reels, and I settled on big game, but the only color they had was the bright green. So I just figured I would tie a longer leader which I did to get farther away from the bright green line. But I went out today, and that stuff was BRIGHT, I mean when that stuff gets out in the sun it’s like reflector strips telling fish to run away lol. I’ve seen some guides use the bright colored line, and was just wondering if anyone has an opinion on if it makes a difference? I’ve seen a lot of people catch nice fish and a lot of fish and not had a problem with the bright colored line. Just wondering if anyone has any opinions or thoughts on if that matters, even with a nice line 5 and a half foot leader. Thanks!

Nothing to worry about.
Think about that big hook hang in outta the baits nose. Much more visible than some translucent string.
Also, catch plenty on umbrella rigs. Far from invisible there. Yet they still eat it.
No worries.

Thanks, and that’s a good point. There really is no way you can make a bait look 100% natural
