My wife and I were at SML for our annual spring bass fishing trip and I decided to go out solo on Wednesday night and try for a striper. I fished a couple of riprap points on the lower lake from 10:30pm until 12:30am and managed to catch one striper. I caught him on a 5" Whooper Plopper in the Powder color. I didn't take the time to measure him, but based on my experience of handing large walleye on Lake Erie I estimate he was 28-30" and around 12 lb. Sorry about the crappy pic. My selfie skills need work.
