Late report from last week -
Fished a few different nights, throwing mostly topwater, but mixed in some live bait around dusk an evening or two. - wind made things difficult about every night.
Caught a few off primary channel points on topwater. Then did have one good night casting to shallow water flats and points, caught more fish but small in size. Caught several catfish, a couple decent flatheads and a nice channel cat. Also a nice smallmouth, just short of citation size. Warm water no doubt had the cats feeding.
Not a lot of success in terms of size of the fish. But always good to be on the lake at night and catching fish.
