Howdy.
I made it down to fish with the old man a bit this passed week. We smoked em. This was the best fishing we have ever had down there. We caught a couple over 10 pounds, and lots of fish in general. Between the 2 of us, we landed 71 in 4 days. It was super windy on 5/1 when I got down, but that was our best night of the week. We landed 24 that night. It is on! Dad has been down there since the middle of April, and since he has been there, plus the ones we caught together last week, the total is 125 for the year so far. It has been incredible.
We were hammering em on F18s for the most part. I had a few blow up on a Zara Spook, but none that were actually serious. Some on Redfins. Some on Lucky Craft Pointers. Dark colors are working the best for us.
