230pm-445 pm Water Temp. varied from 46-47 average 46
Water Clarity poor less than two feet visibility some junk in water
No gulls seen less than average Blue Herons and king fishers paired geese seen
No surface bait or activity seen likely stuff on sonar
No live/dead bait used
Large plugs with rattles used trolled 2.0-2.5 mph
Three lines trolled with large plugs over 6.5 inches with rattles natural and bright colors only got one

New SML personal best (PB). Thank You ! This one took a live target 8.5 inch sucker stick bait trolled in about 25 feet of water heading into the current. No planner board estimated plug depth of 15 feet.

Does anyone know why the larger fish have scrapes on their sides like this one. Just about every citation I have ever caught has had this.

I believe they are "battle wounds" from the years.... Or, in fact it may be from them swimming up shallow chasing bait which moves up into the warmer water - I have noticed that this time of year - Feb / early March - you see more of these wounds on the big striper than other times of the year and I've theorized it is from them chasing shallow bait on the rocks.
