Was hoping some of you Tim Wade guys could help me out. Ordered a custom Tim Wade net from a tackle shop online. Ordered a 10’ 3/4” with 1.25 lbs per foot. When it came it felt heavier than the 1.5lbs per foot cracker I normally throw so I weighed it on my Boga grips and it weighed nearly 20 lbs. Emailed the tacked shop and the lady told me this is what it should weigh, she asked me to send her some pictures of the lead line and she could tell the weight from the size of the weights and spacing. Sent her the pics and never heard back. Was wondering if you guys who use these nets a lot could in fact tell the weight from looking at the led line. I’ll post below. I did weigh my cracker and it was just about 2 lbs lighter, so I suspect they sold me a 1.75 lb per foot vs. the 1.25 lb I ordered. Thanks.
