I’ve been reading up on fishing directly below the Leesville dam from the bank but was wondering if anybody here has any experience before I make the trip. Anything helps!

I have a ton of experience fishing behind the dam. This is basically where I learned about Stripers, catfish, and God from my grandfather. I'll be glad to answer any questions just shoot me a pm. I will say things have changed a ton down there since word got out. It is heavily fished with less then desirable clientele hanging around if you catch my drift. You can't "bank" fish there but they have installed a concrete fishing area with railings. Just know once the siren sounds you have about 2 minutes to get to higher ground. It only takes one generation cycle to understand why.  |
