When striper fishin.... beautiful weather may not be your friend.
I enjoyed it, don't get me wrong.
Some more wind and clouds woulda helped in my opinion.
Bait had move shallower and I was able to sort through the smaller ones.
Caught two fish before the sun even came out good.
Then you guessed it, like it happens sometimes. The bite slowed down when the sun came out, with action on one other board.
I missed it and lost my bait.
So I did what I do best, EAT!
Fried up a couple eggs an sausage the night before, tasted pretty good cold out of a zipe lock bag on the lake.
Finally around 11:00 I hooked up with another striper, and hour later a large mouth bass.
Didn't get a pic of the bass, as I reached for the net it flopped one last time and came off.
Looked to be over 20", it took a 10" bait.
It was a nice day to be out fishing,
and i didn't get skunked.
So win , win.
