Anybody fishing this weekend? Headed up for the first time since knee surgery to see what this new knee thinks about throwing a cast net 50 times. I've seen some stuff on Facebook recently about debris in the lake, does anyone know how bad it is on the BW side? any insight would be helpful gents. Tight Lines.

Lund me and bushwaker fished last Friday and Saturday, water had a lot of color to it in Gill's Creek just above the marina, it was stained pretty Good around the curve, we were able to boat a couple fish in that area, the trash wasn't bad in the afternoon while getting BAIT, however Early morning run, be careful some bank debree is there. Standiford back to Magnum has a lot of color water also, not a lot of trash but again watch early morning travel. Tight lines to ya!

Did you get a knee replaced? I had mine done almost two weeks ago, just wondering how long it's gonna take me to get back on the boat!

Ouch! Mine was arthritis from 35 years of manual labor ( carpentry ). I hope to get back on the boat in 4-5 weeks. I'm on the Roanoke side around R34, it's colored up pretty good here with the occasional log floating around. The birds are working pretty good, mostly in the morning. Good luck with your recovery!
