Beaverdam Creek and Falling Creek Reservoirs

I want to thank the contributors for putting this site/thread together. It is so exciting reading about others fishing adventures!! Thank you!!

I love fishing maybe more than anyone one I know. Unfortunately, I work long hours and have two young kids. My time for fishing is very limited at best. The only place I know to go is SML. I have had little to no success fishing for striper and bass. It seems you need to have a lot of time and years of experience to be successful on SML. I have been skunked there more times than I can count. Strangely, I have these two nice looking Reservoirs right near my home known as Beaverdam Creek and Falling Creek Reservoirs. I am unable to get any information on these bodies of water other than, no one knows anything. The thing that kills me is they are like a 5-10min walk away.... There is limited information online. Is there any way to get permission to fish here? It would be a dream come true to have this as an option. Thank you for your help and time.

I'm pretty sure those are Vinton water supply. Fish at your own risk id say!

I think they used to be used as water supply but not now. Permission to fish them is not likely. But if your walking to them I say fish them. I know a guy that used to take a small job boat up there and sneak in and catch crappie till his arm hurt
