Yer welcome...
If any striper anglers had that place figured as their "secret spot", well, that's been busted...
Won't be long now, that lake is going to grow much smaller.. Wal-Mart parking lot anyone??

Carvin’s cove grew 40+lb stripers too! I always look for a summer thermal refuge (those make great striper reservoirs) - not sure this has one in looking at it on a map. Pretty cool catch here nonetheless.

Wow... If WV didn't have cast net size restrictions, I would be driving there right now!
Great article!

I stumbled into that article as well. Tried to find some info on how to verify they are running the plant before I drove up. The locals I talked to said they don’t run the plant that often anymore. Which means no warm water. Don’t if it’s true or just the locals protecting there fishing spot

Wow... If WV didn't have cast net size restrictions, I would be driving there right now! Great article! Yam, you don't need a cast net to catch fish that size. This lake record was caught on a Striper Sniper 10" Snake Worm. The previous lake record up there was caught on a 7" Snake Worm.

They definitely have some nice ones in that lake, like others have said though the plant don't run like it used to, but those fish are still there...just gotta adapt and find them. Luckily I know someone up there that can tell me if the plants running before a trip.
