Hi all! Been trolling this forum for couple weeks now and decided to join. I live about 5 minutes from penhook ramp and have finally gotten on the big water. I bought a 16' foot v bottom boat last fall and built into a duck hunting rig and decided to start doing some fishing on it during the off season. I took a friend of mine, "the spinnerbait doc", fishing this past week and we caught 5 stripers before work, 3 keepers and 2 in the slot limit (32 & 34 inches) and I am HOOKED! Wanted to introduce myself and see if anyone else is fishing the penhook side of the lake and get some help posting pics of my first striper!

Plus, if you have a question on just about anything to do with fishing there are some really smart guys on here that will probally beable to give you a really good answer. On posting pictures to the site: Mike put up a thread on how to post pictures on the site... Look under: Rules, Announcements and Help thread and you will find it. (You might want to use photobucket) Here is the link: smlfishingforums.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=37~Best

Welcome. The pic link should help - photobucket works well - just upload from your PC - they have made some changes which can result in links too long for the ProBoards to read - trying to figure out a workaround.....

Welcome. The pic link should help - photobucket works well - just upload from your PC - they have made some changes which can result in links too long for the ProBoards to read - trying to figure out a workaround..... ProBoards (the software which this board runs on / is hosted on) is in the process of rolling out a new version of the forum software. At some point in the new future we will be migrated to that new version. In doing some testing, it looks like this new version "fixes" the limitation on very long URL lengths, which will in turn let the long filenames that Photobucket is using now work again ;D The net/net is, for now, upload your pics to Photobucket from your PC if you can - but once we are moved to the new version of the ProBoards forum software it should work from wherever. Side note - if today you just dump all your pics into your main folder on Photobucket, then maybe things are still OK as you don't have added length in the image link due to folder / directory names. However, once you start creating folders/directories to organize your photos, then the link lengths get longer and this is where the problems crop up at the moment.

Hey, its me again Margaret. Dude. I'm so glad to find duck hunting info available here also. Sorry for the confusion on the personal reply format. Hope to meet on lake soon.
