•12/6 and 12/7 were both partly cloudy/sunny, 30-47 degrees. 12/8 was mostly cloudy, 30-40 degrees. Occasional light wind on 12/6 and 12/7. •WT all three days ranged from 47-50 degrees. •Pulling U-rigs and jigging with spoons 12/6 - We caught 4 stripers ranging from 24” to 27”. 3 were caught before 0830 and our last one was caught at 1330. All were photographed and released. 12/7 - We caught 9 stripers ranging from 25” to 32”. All were caught prior to 1000 and the double we had on one U-rig (27” and 31”) was a hell of a lot of fun! All were photographed and released. 12/8 (Winter Open) - We caught 3 stripers ranging from 17” to 27”. 1 caught in the morning and 2 in the afternoon. Photo and released, obviously. Most stripers were caught on main channel points, humps and flats. I’ll echo what Chris mentioned in a recent report regarding the BW, good action/numbers this fall but no monsters. Maybe one day we’ll get the monsters Team Old School says in their videos you can catch on U-rigs! 😁

I forgot to mention that on 12/7 the birds led the way for us, and the reason we caught 9 in a short amount of time. Behind my buddy’s left shoulder in the second picture, if you zoom in, you can see a few diving. It was the right place at the right time, and not because we’re any good! It is also amazing how many boats birds attract to an area.
