Anyone permanitly mount/install their Super Bait tank? I want to permanently install it on the pontoon but quit not sure the best way to secure it. Any ideas or suggestions?

If you want to permanently mount it, get or make some "chocks" to go at the "corners" and screw those in to the pontoon decking - would keep it from sliding. You don't really want to screw anything into the sides of that tank.
Honestly, mine sits on one of those "non-slip" rug mats - the "waffle" looking white rubber type and it does not move when empty - and definitely not when full - would think the fiberglass would be slicker than the pontoon carpet. Trailed it to the Bay and back and it did not move (though I did have a battery and some other junk in there during the trip).

Thats what I wond up doing. Took some of that scrap PVC board and L brackets and made chocks screwed to the deck on all 4 sides. Not worried about it moving around when it has water in it but when its empty since I decided to mount it in the center of the boat. This way I can run the wireing under the pontoon deck. Just worried about it sliding around while trailering since ther is nothing to block the wind from hitting it due to its location. I can still tip it side to side and lift it straight up but it wont slide side to side or front or back. Just didnt know if there was a better way of doing it. Now i just need to wire it in and catch some bait ;D

could you make a small bock on each side of the tank with hooks to run a small ratchet strap across the tank when empty to hold it in place

Shadslinger - thats a good idea. For trailering I might be able to just use the railings on each side to use as an anchor point.

will do. debating on whether or not to put a switch in on the console or just use a stand alone quick connect type setup or both

will do. debating on whether or not to put a switch in on the console or just use a stand alone quick connect type setup or both I have mine on a lighted switch at the console, and it is easy to turn on / see if its on (not that you can't hear it being on), but I will say, it can be a failure point if something accidentally hits it and turns it off..... had it happen one time a couple of summers back - left one spot, ran to another, found the tank had turned off and had a tank of dead bait

Yea thats a good point. If I put a switch its going to be a toggle switch and not a paddle switch since that is what all the ones already installed on the console are. I like the lighted ones like you mentioned so its a little easier to tell its on especially at night
