Captains Meeting - Friday, 12/7
Halesford Harbor Inn - Room #12 (upper level, far left)
3:00p - 5:45p, and then 8:45p - 10:00p
Contact me directly if you are not able to make it during that window of time to discuss options - may be able to meet earlier that day.

Lines in: 6:45am (tentative for now - will confirm at Capt mtg)

Post-tourney check-in & awards: Hot Shots located at 13360 Booker T Washington Hwy, Moneta, VA 24121

Check-in open from 4pm to 5pm (yes, this is a change based on feedback to have opportunity for a bit more afternoon/evening fishing)

Also a reminder that the Halesford Harbor Inn is the official tournament hotel and is providing room rate discounts of 20% off for tournament participants for their stay.

There are currently plenty of rooms for Friday evening, but if you are wanting to stay through and fish on Sunday then you need to go ahead and book ASAP as they are filling up due to a group that will be there on Saturday evening.

So.... yes, we've seen the forecast for this upcoming weekend and talk of snow. What else would anyone expect for a Striper Mafia Winter Open? 😊 However, we're seen the forecasts change twice already in the last 48 hours and expect it to change again 5 more times before Saturday - so, we will be keeping our eye on the weather and should things look to be dangerous in terms of frozen precipitation on Saturday we will evaluate and make a decision on Friday morning. However, we will be holding our Captain's Meeting on Friday evening INSIDE at Halesford Harbor, and our post-tournament check-in will be under the sheltered cover (and I believe they will have the sides screened in as well), so we will be dry and potentially even protected from any wind at the post-tourney check-in - can't ask for much more. And, I have it on good authority that the big striper munch down in the snow, so.......
