Not unusual for the lake to come down this time of year - my feeing is it is maintenance related of some form. Could also be intentional at the moment to try and get some of the debris to settle back on the banks

Agree with MWard. It's that time of year when AEP routinely pulls the lake down. I may be mistaken, but I think AEP has managed the heavy rains, and hurricane events pretty well this year. I'm on the upper Roanoke, debris washouts from rain is normal here - it happens a few times every year. Not sure they can prevent it. It's a bit selfish, but I am happy when the water level (which got up really high this fall) doesn't rise to the point in gets above my dock and surrounding bank lines. Honestly guys, living down here as a primary residence on Lake Wylie in the Charlotte SC waterfront, and seeing how Duke Power controls Lake Norman and Lake Wylie.....we shouldn't complain about AEP. There are absolutely more issues down here -

Remember that the 794.2 adjusted is not the actual lake level - is the lake level plus/minus the water held in Leesville for generation. It is currently showing 792.5’. I know that does not answer your question but maybe it helps someone answer it

Hardy is good to go even down around 790-791. I’ve launched there plenty of times when it was lower than this.

Stripper or striper? I'm up for either. Might hafta reprioritize things if it's the former. Just sayin' . . .
